Synopsis:
A young filmmaker is trying to make a film but his girlfriend keeps getting in the way. She doesn’t know anything about art. She is not a boy genius…
This short film was commissioned by the Thai Film Foundation on the occassion of the 9th Thai Short Film & Video Festival. The eight previous winners of the Raj Pestonji Award were asked to make a short film around the concept of “egg”, which is the symbol of the festival.
Boy Genius is the first part of the Boy Genius Trilogy, a tribute to the joy and frustration of making short films in the early years. The Sigh and Sayonara complete the Trilogy.
