Pop Pictures was started in 2006 by Aditya Assarat, Soros Sukhum, and Jetnipith Teerakulchanyut. The idea was to gather a group of independent filmmakers together under one roof. We do many different projects – films, television, music videos – because we believe you always learn something new on every production no matter what it is. And finally, we enjoy working together. At the end of the day, filmmaking mostly consists of carrying heavy things around in the hot sun. It’d be pretty boring if you didn’t like the people you were with. But we do. That’s why we started the company together.
